History of 3D graphics cards

Try to imagine where 3D gaming would be today if not for the graphics processing unit, or GPU.  It’s pretty amazing when you think about how far graphics technology has come. Maximum PC has publishes an interesting article From Voodoo to GeForce: The Awesome History of 3D Graphics that takes a look back at every major GPU release since the infancy of 3D graphics. This is almost 15 years of PC 3D graphics card history. The 3D graphics cards have been here for a long time, but where are the real 3D displays that can display real 3D views to users instead of this traditional process graphics using 3D technology and the display it in 2D monitor?

Why bother with the Flash only web site?
As the percentage of web users on non-Flash-capable platforms grows (many mobile platforms), developers who currently create Flash experiences with no fallbacks will have to rethink their strategy. Flash won’t die tomorrow, but plug-in technology is on its way out.

Though I would’ve loved it much more if you added a relevant video or at least pictures to back up the explanation, I still thought that your write-up quite helpful. It’s usually hard to make a complicated matter seem very easy. I enjoy your weblog and will sign up to your feed so I will not miss anything. Fantastic content
