i have a similar issue--vs-60705 mitsubishi big screen--first the power shut off and would only stay on for a minute--then unplugged for a day and worked for 1 week--now picture fades and eventually power goes off--also component video has stopped working--any ideas would be helpful--im a novice in hawaii--sears is the only repair outfit and they say they dont have a clue--set less than 3yrs old with little use-
