Did you ever find out what was wrong with your set? I am experiencing the exact same problem.
: : : Just recently when I tried to use my remote control to turn on the T.V. it does not work all. I cannot control the T.V. using the remote. I have to manually turn on the T.V. from the power switch on top. I tried reprogramming the remote and nothing seemed to work. Please advise. Thank you.
