: hello friends
: i have an 200w heating element soldering iron.
: knowing is ohm mesuring it with a tester how could i understand its voltage?
: coud someone explain me relations between ohms,watts and volts?
: any help will be appreciate

Here are two equations that are useful:

Watts = voltage * current

current = voltage / ohms

If we combine those, we get the equation

watts = voltage * voltage / ohms

and this can be modified to

voltage = sqrt (watts * ohms)
