: Hi Freinds,
: Can any one of you please suggest me the Hardwares/Apparatus/Circuitry needed to view a Person's Heart Beats on a PC monitor. If this is Fesible what are the other things (Sofwares etc.) needed apart from a Computer for this to make possible.

for monitoring heart beats you should know what would be changed at every beat.two manifests are perfusion and biopotentials, that respectively used in SpO2 devices(pulse Oximetery)and ECG(ElectroCardioGraph).
First one uses IR diodes (transmitter and Receiver) almost at finger tip that IR light absorbtion would be changed with any beats.
The second which is more difficult to make use AG-AgCl electrodes to record specefic places differential potentials.
so I suggest you use the first one.you need IR diode, Amplifier,A2D and...
Goodluck!
