With reference to converting a line level to a mic level signal - for a stereo output i.e. L & R signal, I will need to build two circuits. Would the circuits be two independent ones, or would I have to short the ground. Secondly, would it be recommended to replace R1 with a variable 50kOhm resistor (as opposed to fixed resistor), so that I can adjust the incoming level accordingly?
