Thanks, Miguel, for suggestion. I did repeat the same grab operation and the clicks on right channel were not at the same position BUT there seems to be some very precise pattern in their frequency: in a given "shower" of clicks, they occur at exactly the same interval in time or an exact multiple of it.
The smallest time interval found was 93 thousands of a second, many clicks are separated by 186 thousands of a second, some at 372 thousands, etc.
Does this suggest specific causes or further tests to anyone? I would really like to solve that one!
