Hi there,
I have a problem with my cordless phone.
The handset had no power at all when I pressed the talk button.
I then installed brand new batteries, charged them up and still no power to the handset.
I was then advised by a friend to take out the batteries and press every button on the keypad 2-3 times, and then reinstall the batteries and it worked fine. (I would love to know the principal behind this method)
after one full day of using the phone perfectly normal, it stopped working again.
I did the same trick as previously described and it started working again for a couple of hours, and then went back to no power again.
I have now stopped using this method because it doesn't fix the problem permanently, and am currently using another old phone that I have.
could someone please explain why this is happening and how i may be able to fix the problem in simple terms as I am not a technician.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Kind regards,
Steven.
