:i just got mine fixed. the reason it worked w/ unplugging it for a while then restarting is because it is the power supply.it isn't getting the hi fequency's to turn the tubes on. if you had sound 7 no picture before hand this would be a positive. if there is no sound then it's fried all over more than likely & you need a new power supply. if you have a good technician he can rebuild it . @ $ 200.00. hey it's cheaper than a new big screen!!!

: Does any one have experience with Mitsubishi Big Screen TV fixing the power problem I think ?

: : I verified al fuses; OK. When press remote to turn the power I hear few clicks no picture and no sound.

: : Few months ago I experienced similar problem when I removed the wall plug for few days and then plugged it back to my surprise the TV started working. Now the same trick is not working.

: : Any recommendation is appriciated ?

: It's very difficult to say what may be the cause on that shit.
: First of all check the ac-plug on the wall! the cord and the connection to the supply.
: Check the fuses again.Sometimes ,because of high voltage overload, the transistor in the chopper circuit, gives a nice shortcircuit between the emitter and the collector .That usually burn a fuse.
: Check the horizontial oscillator circuit
: Check the rectificaton circuit(bridge etc.)
: Chexk the overload protection circuit
: Check power electronics elements (such as thyristors etc.)
: check the solder in the elements feet(do they connect to the printed board?)

: Good luck
