You can outsource some of the tasks. For example you can use a hosted blogging service (for example wordpress.com ), so someone else can do the server-hugging, and you can concentrate on the content writing after you have set up the system well. Make sure you or someone else handles the backups so things can be fixed if something bad happens (someone hacks in or you accidentally delete content etc..)

The comments administration is another task that you need to think about. In the beginning you might not get many of them, but it is well possible that when some spammer finds your blog, you get quickly a huge feed of spam comments (more that you can manually handle!). It is a good idea to keep things in control so that you accept the comments / writers before the comments get visible (you need to check the comments often enough to avoid days of delay that they show on-line). For taking care of spam comment problem, you can use plug-ins that try to stop automatic spammers from posting (CAPTCHA plug-in, mathematic equation user needs to calculate like used in this blog) and them use automatic spam message filter to filter out most of the spam that gets though the first step (I have found service offered by http://akismet.com/ to be good in this).
