The Makey Makey is really cool, but for just getting a joystick running on your PC, $50 is a steep price, plus you still need your own joystick and some time soldering up a connector and such. I just wanted to buy something, plug it in and play...

I found these brand new joysticks that look and feel exactly like the original Atari joysticks that came with the Atari 2600 VCS... these are perfect and are ready to go. And they were $20 to boot, perfect for someone like me who doesn't want to have to build anything.

Its says on the site I bought it from, there is a solder point to turn it into a keyboard mode joystick, just like the Makey Makey...

So if you want a great joystick, ready to go and at a good price, I recommend this Atari USB joystick -
