Työtiloja kehittävän Workspacen toimitusjohtaja Ilkka Kaakinen on kieltänyt vapusta alkaen etätyöt työntekijöiltään, Helsingin Sanomat kertoo.

Kaakisen mielestä etätyö on saavutettu etu, joka rapauttaa kilpailukykyä.

Kaakinen uskoo, että tekoäly korvaa tietotyöntekijöiden töitä.

– Kyky ideoida, haastaa ja rakentaa toisten ajattelun päälle muuttuvat työntekijän tärkeimmäksi pääomaksi. Ja niitä ei voi kehittää yksin kotona, Kaakinen väittää.

Työnantajat ovat pienentäneet toimistotilojaan etätöiden takia.

Workspace hyötyisi, jos toimistojen kysyntä olisi korkeampi.
