Tips for buying and manufacturing in China

I have bought quite bit of stuff from web shops selling cheap electronics stuff, and wondered how this stuff can be sold and sent overseas so cheaply.

How to Navigate Shenzhen’s Sourcing and Manufacturing Wonderland video of talk at the 2016 Hackaday SuperConference tells some of the the story how this is possible. Shenzhen, China is considered the hardware capital of the world. Shenzhen is the manufacturing center of the world. The side effect of this is an ocean of product markets selling everything from Electronics, to industrial products, garments, injection-molded everything… if it’s being mass produced you can find it here. That act of finding what you’re looking for is the difficult part.

How to Navigate Shenzhen’s Sourcing and Manufacturing Wonderland is an excellent video, well worth the half hour.
