The ticking clock on the bomb is a Hollywood trope that simply refuses to die.
if you’d like to build a dramatic prop and are mature enough to do so responsibly, [Giorgio] has the guide you need.
The build is a straightforward one, relying on an Arduino to run the show. This is hooked up to a classic 7-segment LED display, upon which the countdown is displayed. For extra flair, an MP3 player is fitted to play the Mission Impossible theme.

Arduino One Pixel Camera Sees All (Eventually)
https://hackaday.com/2018/12/17/arduino-one-pixel-camera-sees-all-eventually/
this single pixel camera built by [Tucker Shannon] is anything but normal.
At the heart of his unusual camera is the TCS34725 RGB color sensor from Adafruit which receives a tightly focused beam of incoming light by way of a 3D printed enclosure and a 3mm OD aluminum tube. This allows an Arduino Uno to determine the color of this tiny slice of light, making up a single pixel of the final color image. [Tucker] notes that you could even swap the color sensor out for a simple photocell if you don’t mind a black & white image at the end of the process.

Stomping On Microcontrollers: Arduino Mega Guitar Effects Pedal
https://hackaday.com/2018/05/08/stomping-microcontrollers-arduino-mega-guitar-effects-pedal/
Effects pedals: for some an object of overwhelming addiction, but for many, an opportunity to hack. Anyone who plays guitar (or buys presents for someone who does) knows of the infinite choice of pedals available. There are so many pedals because nailing the tone you hear in your head is an addictive quest, an itch that must be scratched. Rising to meet this challenge are a generation of programmable pedals that can tweak effects in clever ways.
With this in mind, [ElectroSmash] are back at it with another open source offering: the pedalSHIELD MEGA. Aimed at musicians and hackers who want to learn more about audio, DSP and programming, this is an open-hardware/open-software shield for the Arduino MEGA which transforms it into an effects pedal.

Can you power an Arduino with a single 18650?
Comment:
I made digital thermometer which works 500 days (not hours!) on single 18650 using Arduino and Nokia LCD turned on all the time. And it measures temperature every 60-80s, so ATMEGA is very good for lowpower applications. I had the project somewhere on my channel if anybody is interested.
