Try many programming languages

TIO is a family of online interpreters for an evergrowing list of practical and recreational programming languages. The site has over 100 supported languages. Practical languages include things like C, Java, Python, Perl and also old school stuff. You can try all of then without leaving your favourite web browser!

Pick a programming language, and start typing. Once you click the run button, your code is sent to a TIO arena, executed in a sandboxed environment, and the results are sent back to your browser. You can share your code by generating a client-side permalink that encodes code and input directly in the URL.

The site is free from ads and other nonsense other than a call for donations and a plug for their web host on the main page.

The site is interesting if you are wanting to compare languages or try out a snippet of code you found online. For practical use, it probably isn’t going to help you much.

If you wanted to set something up like this on your own server, it is open source, so you can have it.
