Touch interfaces are hardly futuristic at this point, but multi-touch hardware like the Microsoft Surface or the iPhone is just starting to become a big deal. Now it is time to learn how they work and maybe try to build our own.

The screen uses FTIR (short for Frustrated Total Internal Reflection) setup. It involves three vital components: a sheet of transparent acrylic, a chain of infrared LEDs, and a camera with an IR filter. The LEDs are arranged around the outside of the sheet of acrylic so that they shine directly into the thin side surfaces. The net effect of the setup described above is a sheet of acrylic full of internally reflecting infrared light. When a finger is pressed against the acrylic, it causes some of the light to be reflected down, through the acrylic and into the cabinet, where it is detected by the webcam.

It could be some other reason that made it occur (for example some malware in your computer that activates when some specific sites are visited) or it could be a false alarm.

The lay out and color scheme are custom designed for this site.
First the other parts of the site were designed.
Later when blog was added, a suitable matching wordpress theme was designed.

If you want to advertise your site on blog comments, send the comments to some blogs that are related to your topic and do not here.
Instead of stupid spamming concentrate on good content and good search engine visibility.

Those automated commentary software is annoying for blog maintainers… All this annoying spam coming in.
And those automated comments are pretty much stupid and look quite similar, so they get usually deleted by the blog operators. So posting those automated commentary might not be that efficient than it is advertised…
Most automated comments coming in get deleted on this blog…. they are just annoying spam…
