: : Dear Friends,
: : I m soory to say that no body of you have proved help full for me till now....I just Need a Simple Circuit for CAR CHARGER for a Nokia Mobile Phone.....that is to Convert 12 volts (1amp) current to the requisite 4~~5 volts (precisely..I m not sure )...for Charging the Mobile Phone in the CAR.......
: : ....any Sort oif Suggetions and HELP are MOST WELCOME !!!!!

: : BEST Regards for the NEW Year ,

: : Nityanand....

: MobileWorld Tech Info says that Nokia 6110-6150
: series charger input voltage is 8.4V 0.8V.

It might have been 8.4V 0.8A I think.

: It is pretty close what reads on the mains
: charger. The same charger works also
: on many other phone models.

There was a mistake in this. I jut came
home and check what my original Nokia 6150
harger said it has output specifications:
3.7V DC 355 mA

My table-top charger for the same phone model
(not original Nokia product) says that the
charging current for the phone is:
9.0V DC around 500 mA

My quess is that is what is needed is
a power source between that 3.7V and 9V
with an outptu current limited to
something in range of 350 mA to 800 mA.
That's my quess what the circuit should
deliver.

: If you supply the power on that range from
: current limited power source, this could work
: I think (or damage the phone...)
