Macrovision is surely in effect in every legal DVD-player with RGB sold in Europe today. A chip in the players is told when to "protect". And some TVs are affected by it! Mine in the form of annoying weak periodic colordisturbancies. But only when i use RGB (and Marovision-DVDs), not S-video or CVBS. I wish there was a way to fix it, or that Macrovision had done a better job here.
